Personal History and Interests

Ariana Fierro is a bi-lingual licensed master social worker (LMSW) with experience working with infants, children and families providing therapeutic intervention and support. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she completed two undergraduate degrees- A Bachelor of Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish- at Northern Arizona University (NAU) in Flagstaff. She continued her education at NAU earning a Master of Social Work.

After receiving her two undergraduate degrees, Ariana completed a semester-long internship at Shaw Butte Elementary School in Phoenix where she provided care to students and support to families in need of assistance. During this internship, she also supported the school’s social worker with crisis intervention and translation needs with Spanish speaking children and families.

Ariana brings her experience as a child therapist, infant family specialist, and family support specialist to DMG CRS. In addition to being a licensed master social worker, she is a Registered Circle of Security Parenting Facilitator and is certified in the Developmental, Individual-differences, and Relationship-based model (DIR®).
