Pediatric Social Workers

Providing patient and family services to coordinate and ensure family-focused care

Pediatric social workers play a vital role in helping children and their families cope with the challenges associated with illness and disability. They provide emotional support, practical assistance, and advocacy to improve the quality of life for children and their families.

DMG Children’s Rehabilitative Services’ (DMG CRS) medical Pediatric Social Workers ensure that patients and their families have access to the appropriate care and support. Our social workers facilitate family-focused medical treatment during in-person and telehealth appointments.

  • Interfacing with your child’s school to ensure your child’s unique needs are addressed to optimize learning

  • Locating available resources in the community to cope with emotional, financial, and social needs that arise due to your child’s diagnosis

  • Social Workers are experts in supporting the physical and emotional needs of you and your family
